Diclofenac Potassium + Paracetamol + Chlorzoxazone Tablets
Diclofenac Pot. 50 mg + PCM 325 mg + Chlorozoxazone 250 mg
Diclofenac Potassium + Paracetamol + Chlorzoxazone Tablets are available with the branding “WAYDlF-MR” and help lessen the pain associated with injury to tissues, alleviating inflammation and swelling from surgery. The pain is categorized into two, that is, the pain that lasts for a short time only is abbreviated as acute pain and the pain that lasts for a relatively long period is known as chronic pain. Musculoskeletal pain may occur in cases of soft tissue lesions involving muscles, tendons and ligaments. When there is severe tissue pain or swelling resulting from sprains, strains, trauma surgeries or any tissue injury it may take longer to heal.
Diclofenac Potassium + Paracetamol + Chlorzoxazone Tablets is a fixed-dose combination composed of three medicines namely: Diclofenac, Paracetamol and Chlorzoxazone. Diclofenac reduces the effect of a chemical messenger, cyclo-oxygenase (COX) which is responsible for pain and swelling at the site of the injury or damage in the tissues.
Paracetamol has an analgesic power, which is mild and also a mild antipyretic agent and it augments the pain relieving property of Diclofenac. The third medicine is known as Chlorzoxazone which is a muscle relaxant and hence helps in reducing the flow of signal or pain messages from the brain to muscles and thus makes muscles relax.
Medical Benefits
- Diclofenac is known to hamper the effects of cyclo-oxygenase (COX), which is responsible for the sensation of pain and inflammation at the site of tissue injury.
- Paracetamol is a mild analgesic and antipyretic which when combined with an NSAID such as Diclofenac allows an increased effect in terms of pain relief.
- Chlorzoxazone is among the muscle relaxants that work by acting through the central nervous system to inhibit nerves from sending impulses or pain signals to the muscles and results in clear muscle relaxation.
