Rabeprazole Sodium + Domperidone Tablets are a combination of two drugs: Rabeprazole sodium (proton pump inhibitor) and Domperidone (a dopamine antagonist). Rabeprazole sodium affects the activity of the gastric proton pump responsible for the synthesis of acid. Domperidone helps by stimulating the muscle in the stomach to contract and peristalsis. Overall, this medicine helps in the treatment of problems related to acidity.

Precautions
- Take this medicine with caution as it may interact with anti-HIV (atazanavir, nelfinavir, saquinavir), blood thinner (clopidogrel, warfarin), a drug used to treat hypothyroidism (levothyroxine), anti-rheumatoid (methotrexate), etc.
- It may interact with St.John’s wort (an herbal supplement used to treat depression). Avoid alcohol consumption as alcohol intake increases stomach acid production, thereby increasing acidity and heartburn.
- Talk to your doctor if you have/had epilepsy, mania, Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhoea (CDAD), liver disease, bone fractures, and hypomagnesemia (low levels of magnesium).
