Pregabalin + Methylcobalamin + Nortriptyline Tablets
NUROLONE-PLUS
Pregabalin + Methylcobalamin + Nortriptyline Tablets come with the branding “NUROLONE-PLUS” and are used to treat neuropathic pain in patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy and postherpetic neuralgia. Neuropathic pain is a chronic progressive nerve disease that develops as a result of altered neural function caused by nerve injury, disease or disturbance in nerve communication. It ranges from spontaneous pain, unpleasant sensation or sensation, electric shock-like, hot or nail-like pain, and evoked pain.
Pregabalin + Methylcobalamin + Nortriptyline Tablets are a combination of three drugs: Methylcobalamin (vitamin), Nortriptyline (antidepressant), and Pregabalin (anti-convulsant). Methylcobalamin is a B vitamin that helps with the formation of the myelin sheath that insulates nerve fibres and generates new nerve tissues when destroyed.
Nortriptyline relieves pain by raising the levels of nerve transmitters such as serotonin and noradrenaline in the brain reducing the pain signals received. Pregabalin alleviates pain in a manner that slows down the messages of pain that are sent through the brain and along the spinal cord. All together; it is effective in the treatment of neuropathic pain.
