Diclofenac Potassium+ Paracetamol + Serratiopeptidase Tablets come with the branding “WAYDlF-SP” and are useful in curing disorders like Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Ankylosing Spondylitis. In addition to this, it is also used to ease muscle pain, tooth pain during dental surgery, menstrual pain/cramps, ear pain and migraine headaches. Pain is an indication arising from the nervous system and leads to discomfort in the affected body parts. Arthritis is the inflammation of the joints that modify the position and shape of bones which leads to pain and stiffness in the affected joints.

Diclofenac Potassium+ Paracetamol + Serratiopeptidase Tablets are a combination of three drugs, namely: Diclofenac, Paracetamol and Serratiopeptidase. Diclofenac and Paracetamol work by blocking the effect of a chemical messenger known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes that make other chemical prostaglandins. These prostaglandins are produced at injury sites and cause pain, swelling and fever.

Through this blockage of the COX enzyme, fewer prostaglandins are produced that decrease the mild to moderate pain, inflammation and fever. Serratiopeptidase functions as a mucolytic, where it dissolves the thick protein at the injured/affected site, hence it also decreases swelling at the painful site.
